UvA Audioguide – 2008

The Audio Guide Project was financed by SenterNovem. In this project, the Amsterdam University and the Eindhoven University worked together. We did research to determine guidelines for a navigation system (audio only) for people with a mild form of dementia. I was responsible for the literature studies, the prototypes and the usability tests for the Wizard of Oz method. The test results were reported in the form of a report and a paper, which I presented to my fellow researchers in this field as well as to our funder.

Delivered

  • Usability tests
  • Prototypes of the Audioguide (We used a PDA with a headphone that connected via Bluetooth to another PDA where we sent the audio messages from.)
  • Reports and a paper
